Craigieburn with the RSL

Filed under: Reviews — Cary @ 8:16 am

Had a hit with the RSL out a Craigieburn on Sunday. This course has come a long way in the last 5 years. It used to be one of those places you only went to if you had to. Now the fairways are in great condition, the greens can be challenging, as I found out with my 40 putts :( The day was a little over cast & looked like it was about to pour down on a couple of occasions but the weather held off & the wind was pretty good.

I wouldn’t mind getting back out here again with my camera.

  1. How did you find the ‘grass’ bunkers at the Craigieburn ? They aren’t as easy as they look to get out of !

  2. I like the idea of “grass” bunkers. The are easier for the club to maintain than sand & as you said, they can be just as tough to get out of. Most of the bunkers you play at the smaller public course are a joke, more like concrete than sand.
